Neural Space
Hello World! I'm Sohan Nag, and I turn satellite data into stories about our planet's water systems.
With a background in geology and a passion for remote sensing, I spend my days analyzing how rivers change, how water quality fluctuates with seasons, and how we can use satellites orbiting hundreds of kilometers above to help manage drinking water on the ground.
My toolbox includes Google Earth Engine, Python, machine learning algorithms, and a healthy dose of curiosity. From my Master's thesis on sand mining's impact on the Yamuna River to independent projects monitoring water quality across the Ganga and Mahananda rivers, I'm driven by one question: How can we use Earth observation data to build more resilient water systems in a changing climate?
When I'm not geeking out over satellite imagery, you might find me listening to the trendy meme songs, Writing and voicing my inner thoughts with obviously you guys and blogging about the latest in geospatial AI and environmental sustainability.
Let's say, it documents my projects, shares technical insights, and explores the fascinating world where geospatial AI meets environmental sustainability. and so on.

So keep an eye for those out there, cause we all know that socila media algorithms might not be the best place to think.
